About the NCRM Resource Repository
The NCRM Resource Repository contains hundreds of free resources on research methods for both learners and trainers. It is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council and managed by the National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM), which is based at the University of Southampton.
The website is a repository of learning materials developed by NCRM and its partners over the course of more than 20 years, between 2004 and 2025. These resources include tutorials, videos, podcasts, guides, publications and more.
NCRM delivers cutting-edge research methods training and capacity building across the UK. The centre offers courses and resources for both learners and trainers, supporting the research community in the social sciences and beyond.
